Many Disney fans are anxiously waiting for the return of the legendary Hatbox ghost. But there is a lot of speculation that the Hatbox Ghost even existed in the mansion at all. There are no molds nor a Hatbox animatronic anywhere to be found.
Recently new evidence has come into light that states that during the opening month of the Haunted Manner, August of 1969 old "Hattie" did exist. The image below shows a picture that a guest has taken some time before

With the two images ontop of eachother you will see that Hatbox ghost from the video on the right shows the image aligns perfectly to the Hatbox Ghost photo on the left.

The Hatbox ghost is shown in the video provided by DisneyHistory on youtube.com. The video shows a somewhat clear image of the hatbox ghost. If you would just like to see the hatbox find skip to around 5:00.
The find is definitely an answer to a long awaited Hatbox existence debate.There is a lot of talk that the Hatbox ghost will return to the Mansion, however nothing yet has been confirmed by Disney.
